Tony Andrews is woven into the history of Glastonbury. The Funktion-One founder did the sound at the very first Glastonbury (Pilton Festival) in 1971 and can be plotted at key moments over the decades. In recent years, he’s been getting his kicks from the more experimental side of the festival. The Glade – with its free-spirited ethos – has been the grassy, sometimes sun-drenched real-life lab for Funktion-One’s adventures in ambisonic surround sound.
